Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly is best known for the unique style he uses to rap. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on 22nd April 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries and during his initial years they traveled extensively together. The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment and his mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker, his father, along with their aunt, relocated from Denver to Denver. Baker's lack of resources was a reason to be bullied by children who were around him. When he reached the sixth grade, Baker started to learn the art of rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April 1991 in Texas. With his music, he is well known for blending hip-hop trends of the present along with classic rock. Baker was the author of four mixtapes in 2007 through 2010, before signing to Bad Boy Records. These Cleveland rapper who raps the lyrics with as much speed as a bullet-train, experienced an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, when he switched to self-publishing mixtapes instead of working with respected labels. The career of the rapper took off after that, with each of his records making the top 10 of charts.
